Living & Dining
The open-plan living and dining area is spacious, welcoming, and designed for comfort, with plenty of room for up to six adults to unwind. Reverse-cycle heating and cooling, along with ceiling fans, keep the space comfortable year-round, while a flat-screen TV and DVD player are on hand for relaxed movie nights. Prefer to unplug? Sink into the cosy couches with one of our books or magazines. The large dining table, seating six, sits conveniently beside the well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to share meals and conversation.
Bedrooms
With three bedrooms, Jessie’s Creek Cottage comfortably sleeps up to six adults or a large family. Two double rooms feature queen beds, while the third offers twin single beds, perfect for children or friends travelling together. One of the queen rooms includes a private ensuite, and all bedrooms are furnished with bedside tables and wardrobes for your belongings.
A restful night is assured with quality mattresses, plush pillows, and freshly-laundered bedding. Ceiling fans keep you cool in the warmer months, while winter brings the comfort of electric blankets and extra throws in each room for those who like to stay toasty.
Kitchen
The fully-equipped kitchen is a cook’s delight, stocked with everything you need to prepare anything from a simple breakfast to a family feast. You’ll find a complete range of cutlery, crockery, glassware, utensils, pots and pans, along with cheese boards and salad bowls for those special touches.
Appliances include a fridge/freezer, electric cooktop and oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine. A generous breakfast bar with stools provides the perfect spot for casual meals or a morning coffee, while ample cupboard space keeps everything neatly stored. Conveniently positioned next to the open-plan living and dining area, it’s the heart of the home.
Bathrooms
Sparkling clean and thoughtfully equipped, our bathrooms are stocked with freshly-laundered, fluffy towels for your comfort. The ensuite offers a shower, toilet, and handbasin, while the main bathroom features a deep bathtub for a relaxing soak, alongside a spacious shower, toilet, and handbasin. Both bathrooms are fitted with ceiling extractor fans to keep the spaces fresh and comfortable.
Accessibility
The cottage was thoughtfully designed to prioritise accessibility and ease of movement. The hallway and doorways are wide and wheelchair-friendly, ensuring comfortable navigation throughout the home. Additionally, both the front and rear gardens offer step-free, wheelchair-accessible entry and exit, allowing seamless indoor-outdoor flow without any barriers.
Outside
Picture yourself unwinding in the shade on the verandah, a glass of wine in hand, while the Weber Q barbecue sizzles away after a full day of touring and exploring. The flat, fenced rear lawn is ideal for children or dogs to play safely and enjoys a northerly aspect, soaking up the winter sun beautifully. It’s a wonderful spot to start your morning with a fresh coffee and just as inviting for relaxing in the peaceful evening light.
