Jessie's Creek Cottage is named after Jessie's Creek, which winds past the Mountain View Hotel opposite the cottage on its journey to the King River just a few hundred metres to the east. Village legend has it that the creek takes its name from a local lass named Jessie, who was well-known in Whitfield for enjoying refreshing skinny-dips in the creek's crystal clear waters. Jessie is long gone now, but you can still take the short walk from the cottage down to the tranquil banks of the creek and admire the beauty, maybe even take a dip yourself...?

My wife and I stayed here with our little pooch and we absolutely loved it. It’s spacious, clean, very comfortable and... most of all, Carla is a wonderful host. The house is within walking distance of two wineries and it’s a stone’s throw from the pub. A great place to stay for couples and small groups alike.read more

Exceptional spacious and well presented cottage within walking distance to Mt View Hotel and local wineries in the... beautiful King Valley. The cottage was extremely well presented and included lots of little extras and a very generous breakfast hamper. Carla the host was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely be staying again.read more

Walking distance to two of the great wineries in King Valley and across the road from the Mountain View Hotel.... Staggering back takes a little longer. Perfect for couples and groups wanting to indulge and imbibe the magnificent Italian wines of the King Valley.read more
